Hello my name is Simon Collins. I am a guitar player and songwriter living in Manchester in the UK. I am also a software developer and I realised that a lot of websites providing scale diagrams for guitarists, contained poor quality diagrams, that were hard to read and not printable.

So I had an idea to develop a site that used the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for the scale diagrams. SVG's are great for displaying diagrams on the web as they scale across all device sizes without a loss in image quality.
